In 2001, the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI) created the International Advisory Group (IAG) to assist selected emerging market economies in enhancing their supervisory systems.

While the contribution of IAG continues to bring value to its constituents, economic circumstances have made it necessary for OSFI to evaluate its continuing support of IAG. Effective immediately, an interim partnership has been formed between the Toronto Leadership Centre, the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) and the IAG. Currently scheduled IAG Programs will be held as planned, or rescheduled, in conjunction with the Toronto Leadership Centre while a longer-term solution is being developed.

The Toronto Leadership Centre looks forward to working with the IAG staff to continue providing the quality programs the IAG is known for.
